Jenna Harper, founder of Aloha Paws Rescue, is used to finding dogs in desperate conditions. On a routine feeding run, she spotted a Pitbull peeking from a dilapidated truck, her gaze warm despite her gaunt frame. “I knew I had to come back for her,” Jenna shared on Instagram.
After dropping off other rescues, Jenna returned, and the pup, later named Daisy, was waiting. “She was so happy to see me, despite needing food and medical care,” Jenna said. Daisy hopped into her car without hesitation, as if sensing a new beginning.
