Action Legend Chuck Norris Passes Away at 86

Chuck Norris has passed away at the age of 86.

He first rose to prominence through martial arts films in the 1980s, such as A Force of One and An Eye for an Eye, eventually becoming one of Hollywood’s leading action stars by the end of the decade. In 1993, he further expanded his career by starring in the television series Walker, Texas Ranger.

News of his passing was confirmed on March 20 via a statement shared on his official Instagram account.

“With deep sadness, our family announces the unexpected passing of our beloved Chuck Norris yesterday morning,” the statement said. “While we prefer to keep the details private, we can share that he was surrounded by family and passed peacefully.”

“To the public, he was known as a martial artist, actor, and figure of strength. To us, he was a devoted husband, a loving father and grandfather, a cherished brother, and the foundation of our family.”

“He lived with faith, purpose, and a strong dedication to those he loved. Through his work, discipline, and kindness, he inspired countless people around the world and left a meaningful and lasting legacy,” the statement concluded.
