JFK’s 32-year-old grandson, Jack Schlossberg, appeared visibly devastated as he attended the funeral of his sister Tatiana, who passed away from cancer at just 35, with President Joe Biden seen shedding tears.

The Kennedy family was enveloped in grief as they gathered in Manhattan to mourn Tatiana Schlossberg, who tragically passed away from leukemia at just 35. Her funeral took place at the Church of St. Ignatius Loyola.

Her younger brother, Jack Schlossberg, looked visibly devastated as he arrived alongside their mother, Caroline Kennedy, father Edwin Schlossberg, and sister Rose.

The service drew an array of close friends and notable figures. President Joe Biden attended and was seen wiping away tears outside the church, reflecting on his own loss of a son to cancer.

Other attendees included David Letterman, John Kerry, and former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, highlighting the far-reaching impact of Tatiana’s life and work.

Tatiana’s husband, George Moran, was present with their two young children, Josephine and Edwin. Her passing came just six weeks after she had publicly shared her leukemia diagnosis.

An environmental journalist and author, Tatiana wrote openly about her diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia, discovered during routine blood tests after the birth of her second child.

In her essays, she reflected on the shock of facing a serious illness while feeling healthy, and her desire to shield her family—especially her mother—from added pain.

Following her death, Jack paid tribute on Instagram, sharing poetry, family photos, and excerpts from Tatiana’s book Inconspicuous Consumption, honoring her legacy of purpose, compassion, and environmental advocacy.
