Jeffrey Epstein’s Defense Lawyer Responds to Elon Musk’s Claims Involving Trump

Trump, Musk, and the Epstein Files: What’s Going On?

A public clash between Elon Musk and Donald Trump erupted on June 5 over court documents tied to Jeffrey Epstein. Musk, once a crypto advisor to Trump, accused the former president on X (formerly Twitter) of blocking full disclosure of the Epstein files—claiming Trump’s name might be in them.

“@realDonaldTrump is in the Epstein files. That’s why they haven’t been released,” Musk posted, adding, “Have a nice day, DJT!”

He stood by his claim, though being named doesn’t prove wrongdoing. Trump hasn’t responded directly, but attorney David Schoen—who briefly defended Epstein—disputed Musk’s claim. Schoen said no evidence ever linked Trump to Epstein during his legal work.

Epstein, convicted in 2008 and arrested again in 2019 for trafficking minors, died in jail under controversial circumstances.

At the heart of this dispute are the “Epstein files,” legal documents said to name powerful individuals connected to Epstein. While some parts have been made public, suspicions remain that critical details are still hidden. Despite Trump’s promises of transparency, full disclosure has yet to happen.
