Many believed help would never come for them… until one of Hollywood’s most beloved stars quietly stepped in.
A Storm, A Decision, A Lifelong Promise
In the days after the disaster, heartbreaking images began spreading online. One photo in particular — a pit bull balancing on a piece of floating wood — caught the eye of Keanu Reeves.
Friends say it stirred up memories of a dog he loved as a child. Disturbed by the thought of these animals being forgotten, Reeves reportedly said to his team: “If no one else will do something, I will.”
