Ivanka Trump Reveals Her Heartfelt Decision Regarding Her Father’s Presidency

During the presidency of Donald Trump, Ivanka Trump took on the role of a valued advisor, marking her presence in the political sphere throughout her father’s first term in office.

Ivanka Trump, daughter of Donald and Ivana Trump, previously served as Director of the Office of Economic Initiatives and Entrepreneurship, focusing on women’s empowerment, job creation, and workforce development.

As Donald Trump prepares for a possible second term, Ivanka has made it clear she won’t return to a government role. Since 2022, she’s expressed her desire to step back from politics, citing the personal cost to her family.

“I love policy, but not politics,” Ivanka said. “The biggest reason I’m stepping back is my children. I’m not willing to make that sacrifice again.”

She emphasized wanting to support her father as a daughter rather than an advisor. “Whether it’s watching a movie or a game, I want to be a source of comfort for him.”

Ivanka also reflected on the isolating nature of the presidency, calling it “potentially the world’s loneliest position.”

While stepping away from politics, Ivanka, now 43, still aims to make a positive impact. She has occasionally appeared at public events, including her father’s March 5th Joint Address to Congress.

Melania Trump also shared her plans, stating she will divide her time between New York and Palm Beach, balancing duties as First Lady with her role as a mother and wife.
